General Office Hours
The General office timings are from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm on all
working days except Sundays or Institute’s approved holidays.
Bank
It is desirable that all transactions are made through a Bank.
For safe guaranteeing of valuable ornaments students are
advised to open bank lockers in their own interest. They
should not keep too much cash in their hostel rooms.
Fees
Payment of tuition fees as well as hostel and mess dues shall
be made within the prescribed time as specified in the
Bulletin/Offer letter issued at the time of
admission/beginning of each term. All payments are to be made
by Demand Draft or Bankers’ Cheque in favor of RITEE Business
School. A late fee will be applicable under following
conditions:
i. For a delay of 10 days, the fine will be charged @2.5% of
the total amount due.
ii. For a delay between 11 to 20 days, a fine @5% of the total
amount due.
iii For a delay between 21 to 30 days, a fine @10% of the
total amount due.
iv Non-payment of dues and/or fines beyond 30 days will invite
suspension from the Institute. In such cases, the student will
be readmitted on payment of outstanding dues and the
readmission fees of Rs.1000/-.
Those who fail to clear all the dues in a particular term will
not be permitted to register for the next term without
clearance of the dues.
Award of degree for the second year graduating students will
be withheld unless they clear dues. In such case a late fee
@Rs.20/-* per day will be imposed, until the payments are
settled.
The Result of a first year defaulting students will be
withheld unless the dues are cleared in due time.
Books, teaching materials will be charged on actual basis.
The students shall have to collect the money receipts from the
Accounts office for every payment to the Institute. The
Institute reserves its right to change the above rules through
notice from time to time.
Attendance
No student shall remain absent from the Institute without
prior written permission from the Process Head, PGDM/Director.
If a student has remained absent from the Institute for a
period of 10 days or more without the above permission he/she
will be deemed a deserter from the Institute and his/her name
will be struck off from the rolls of the Institute. The person
will be taken back only on a satisfactory explanation given by
him/her to the Director and on payment of readmission fees of
Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). Permission granted by
the Process Head, PGDM/Director does not automatically exempt
the student from the grade reduction as given in item 2.3 of
Part II nor the Institute bound to make up for any loss of
grades during such authorized absence. Weightage of 15% marks
to be given to 100% attendance.
General Conduct
The students being the future managers, discipline in their
lives is of paramount importance. They should refrain from
indulging in any act, which will bring disrepute to the
Institute. They should be respectful to their seniors, faculty
members and staff of the Institute. They should at all times
behave in a disciplined manner both inside and outside of the
Institute and Hostel.
Proctorial Committee
The committee will keep a continuous watch and vigil so as to
prevent ragging. The committee will also promptly deal with
the incidents of ragging when it is brought to its notice
and/or suo moto punish the guilty by itself. The committee
shall start functioning with effect from 30 June 2006.
Sexual Harassment Removal Committee
As per the guideline of the Hon’ble Supreme Court RIBS shall
constitute a sexual harassment removal committee to act on the
Supreme Court guide lines.
Grievance Handling Committee
A suggestion box has been kept out side the meditation room
facilitating students put their written grievances in the box.
The grievances are being taken out daily and action is
initiated accordingly.
International Collaboration Committee
A committee on international collaboration has been
constituted to recommend measures for an international
collaboration with RIBS.
